MEMBERSHIP UPDATE
As of April 30, 2013:
• LifeSharers has 15,385 members. This is a 2% increase over last April’s total
of 15,063 members. We have members in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
• 122 LifeSharers members are on the United Network for Organ Sharing’s
transplant waiting list. Of these, 111 have qualified for preferred access to the
organs of fellow LifeSharers members. Members are eligible for preferred access
180 days after joining LifeSharers.
Please tell your friends, family, neighbors, and colleagues about LifeSharers.
Every new member decreases the chance you’ll die waiting for an organ.
LifeSharers membership is free and open to all at http://www.lifesharers.org or by
calling 1-888-ORGAN88. There is no age limit, parents can enroll their minor
children, and no one is excluded due to any pre-existing medical condition.

PLEASE HELP SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT LIFESHARERS
You could save someone’s life by letting them know about LifeSharers. The life you save could even be your own.
As our membership expands, so do your chances of getting an organ transplant if you need one.

DO YOU NEED AN ORGAN TRANSPLANT?
If you are on the UNOS transplant waiting list, please let us know by modifying
your LifeSharers member profile. We need information about the organs you need,
your doctors, and your transplant centers. Without this information, your name
will not appear on the list of LifeSharers members who need a transplant.
If you are on the list of LifeSharers members who need a transplant, please
check your LifeSharers member profile to make sure we have the correct contact
information for you, your doctor, and your transplant center.
If you no longer need a transplant, please let us know by updating your
LifeSharers member profile.
To update your LifeSharers member profile, log in to the Member Services area of
the LifeSharers web sit at http://www.lifesharers.org/login.aspx.

from our members to cover our operating expenses. Please send us a financial

LIFESHARERS DISCUSSION GROUP
You can communicate with other LifeSharers members by joining the LifeSharers
discussion group on Yahoo! The purpose of the group is to facilitate discussion
about organ donation and the LifeSharers organ donors network. You can join
